Gruff Rhys' American Interior: more than just an album
Cyfarchion(Greetings from Wales!) to all the fans of rock music. Today we've got some good news from Gruff Rhys of the Super Furry Animals. The frontman has released a new solo album called American Interior, which tells the story of a Welsh explorer, John Evans, who traveled along the Missouri river in search of the legendary tribes of Welsh Indians. However, American Interior is more than just a good music album.
It is also a fascinating book, a documentary film and a cool app for your Android or iOS device. Nathan Hull, digital product development director, said that each of the four storytelling branches of American Interior is unique, they complement each other, and the app weaves together the whole story. Thus, your impression of this titanic work will not be at any rate complete unless you get the application, which is available in both English and Welsh. It uncovers the chronicles of Evans' journey through 100 bits of exclusive content including animations, text, photos, music, videos and what Gruff called ”some of the most emotional pieces of the story.”
So if you feel like going for a stroll across the 18th century America, listening to some good pieces of music, enjoying an interesting story and getting a history lesson at the same time, download the American Interior application. Wela i chi and see you later!
