Backpack Saves the Money You Spend on Delivery Backpack Saves the Money You Spend on Delivery

Backpack is a market platform that allows you to order products from abroad and have them delivered by private travelers or, in case you travel a lot, can help you save some money you spend on your tickets. And that’s how it works.

Shoppers look for the item they want either by using the implemented search through Amazon and E-bay or by providing the link to a product on any other web site. Then it takes up to 24 hours for Backpack to find a traveler who will buy the item and deliver it to you. After that the shopper confirms the order and sends the money to Backpack via PayPal, check, wire transfer or through mobile payment. As soon as the item is delivered, the traveler gets back the whole price of the product plus some extra fee. That’s it. Everyone is happy.

The service has been launched in February and gained momentum very fast with 70.000 visits from 86 countries within the first week after the launch and a 15% growth every week! Currently, most of the customers are from Bangladesh but as more and more travelers sign up, it will also expand to South America, China and Europe. So if you’d like to try it out, check the website and don’t forget to tell us about your impressions in the comments below.

Is there any guarantee that a traveller won't disappear with the item of my dream that I have already paid for?)

The thing is that you do not pay to travelers directly. Your money goes to Backpack and travelers buy the product at their own expense. Backpack will transfer the money to a traveler only after you recieve "the item of your dream" =)
