Jawbone Up3 and Up Move Announced Jawbone Up3 and Up Move Announced

Good news for people who rely on wearable technology to help them achieve a healthier lifestyle. Jawbone recently unveiled two new wristbands called Up3 and Up Move that can track your activity and give you advice on how to improve both your performance as well as your health.

Jawbone Up3 is the most intelligent fitness tracker that the company has ever produced. This $179 wristband isn't only smart but also incredibly cool, stylish and comfortable. The device can automatically detect when you're exercising, the kind of exercises that you are doing (automatic activity classification) or when you're in the REM phase of your sleep. Furthermore, Up3 encases a skin ambient temperature and a bioimpedance sensor which uses microcurrents to determine your heart rate and hydration level. Lastly, the wristband is water resistant (up to 10m under water) and has a battery life of up to seven days.

Even though it may not be the most advanced product on the market, Up Move is certainly one of the cheapest fitness trackers that you can find. This small round device can be strapped on your wrist, attached on your belt and even carried in the pocket. It comes in a wide variety of colors so you don't have to worry about it not matching your clothes. The gadget can detect when you are exercising, keep track of your sleep hours, measure distances and determine the number of burned calories. What's great is that Up Move is highly affordable, coming with a price tag of only $49.99.

Probably the best thing about these two wearables is that, like with every Jawbone product, the user doesn't have to worry about the data gathered. Both wristbands include a smart coach that compiles the data and gives you the right advice to nudge you closer to your goals and to a healthier life.
