It seems that Facebook never gets tired of stealing features from its competitors and especially from Snapchat. According to a recent announcement, the IT giant has just added Masks to the Live videos, allowing you to add filters to the videos that you're broadcasting. At the moment, the feature is only available in the U.S., U.K. and New Zealand and only on iOS devices. Unfortunately, there's no news about when it will be added to Android gadgets.

Since Halloween is just around the corner, most of the Masks are spooky or related to that holiday, but regular masks are supposed to arrive very soon as Facebook plans to keep this feature active. In case you're curios about how you can use these new filters, all you have to do is to launch the Live video feature by tapping the corresponding icon from your Timeline and you will see a wand icon in the top-right corner. Press it to see the available masks, select the one that you want to use and you're done. Additionally, Facebook has also swapped its reactions icons to make it more in tune with Halloween as you can see in the image above.
