A wave of new Pokemons is set to arrive to Niantic's game A wave of new Pokemons is set to arrive to Niantic's game

It's official, Niantic is getting ready to add some new Pokemons to its ultra-popular augmented reality game for mobiles. The company has officially stated that the first addition to the Pokemon GO roster will be unveiled on December 12th on its social media channels. If you're a fan of the game, I'm guessing that this is pretty nice to hear, especially since it has only been a few weeks since a new character called Ditto was added into the game.

Even though Pokemon GO has been one of the most popular titles ever, breaking record after record when it was first launched, the game's popularity has been constantly decreasing as people were getting tired of catching the same Pokemons over and over. After trying to keep things interesting with a Halloween event, a Thanksgiving-themed promotion and the previously mentioned Ditto, Niantic has now decided to try to start adding more Pokemons to the roster. To be honest, I actually think that this is a great idea, especially if the developers do this while ironing out some of the game's well-known bugs, which have been driving the gamers away.
